HKUST DUAL PROGRAM

In the last school year, I attended the dual program 2023-level 1 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In this program, I have learnt some skills in Mathematic Module 2, such as differentiation and integration. The program has not only laid a foundational understanding of Mathematics Module 2 for me ahead of school lessons, but also deepened my knowledge of how these concepts are applied in real-life scenarios. For example, practical questions related to physics, like calculating the work done on a bucket as water flows steadily out from a hole at its base, exemplify the practical utility of these mathematical tools in everyday situations.

This program has offered me an opportunity to explore aspects of Mathematics beyond the confines of textbooks or the HKDSE curriculum, broadening my perspective and fostering a profound grasp of mathematical principles.
