Aims

With the formation of a talent pool, our school can better address the different learning needs of our students.  Gifted students are categorised into different domains: Mathematics, Humanities, Science, Leadership, Aesthetic and Sports.  It will be more effective for school to arrange or design enrichment courses, activities and competitions for students with higher abilities.

 

Criteria and Selection Process

Our talent pool is built on academic excellence, achievements in other learning experience, nominations by class teachers, parents and students’ self nomination.  In order to enhance the accuracy of identification, our Gifted Education Team will evaluate the information or evidence provided and may invite students for interviews.

Self Nomination:
F.2 – F.5 students can self-nominate to the talent pool of different domains.  They have to fill in a Self-nomination Form and hand in to the teacher-in-charge of Gifted Education together with the copies of their achievement records.  After the preliminary evaluation, the Gifted Education Team may invite the students for interviews and collect more information for consideration.
